A brand-new, light-filled studio loft above the historic Mizpah Chapel, on quiet, tree-lined North Market Street in historic "Little Washington." You have the private loft and free on-site parking to yourselves. Note: the chapel below occasionally hosts weddings and bible studies.

🔑 Check-In & Arrival

Check-in: 5:00 PM Address: 1112 North Market Street. For parking, turn in at the driveway at 1118 North Market Street (the same on-site parking area as the Manor guest home at 1114). Entrance: the loft's private entrance is in the back of the chapel — take the exterior staircase up. Door code: the last four digits of the phone number used to book. Press the Schlage logo, enter your 4-digit code, then turn the handle. Early check-in may be possible when there's no same-day turnover — just ask.

🅿️ Parking

Free on-site parking; enter at the 1118 North Market Street driveway. Please be mindful not to block the chapel entrance during events.

📶 Wi-Fi & TV

Wi-Fi network: The Mizpah Collection (open — no password). Smart TV — log in with your own Netflix/Prime/etc. and please sign out at checkout.

❄️ Heating & Air Conditioning

A quiet ductless mini-split provides both heat and A/C — set it to whatever's comfortable with the remote. Please keep the windows closed while it runs, and set a reasonable temperature when you head out.

🍳 Kitchen

Full kitchen with butcher-block counters, cookware, dishes, silverware, and utensils — please wash and return after use. Coffee maker provided; bring extra coffee/filters to be safe.

🧺 Laundry, Linens & Supplies

Linens for the bed and towels for the bath provided. In-unit stacked washer & dryer. Toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) and a hair dryer provided. At check-out, start a load of towels if you can — please don't strip the bed.

🌅 Downtown & Waterfront (right out the door)

Pamlico River waterfront boardwalk & Riverwalk (under a mile away), historic downtown shops, antiques, and art galleries, the Turnage Theatre, the North Carolina Estuarium (the world's first), and self-guided historic walking tours of the district.

🍽️ Restaurant Recommendations

Downtown (walkable): The Hackney (farm-to-table + craft gin distillery in a restored bank), Bank Bistro & Bar, Grub Brothers Eatery (Southern + Cajun), Washington Crab & Pasta, Ribeyes (steaks), waterfront spots with live music & river views, plus coffee shops, bakeries & ice cream within a short stroll.

🎡 Things to Do

NC Estuarium & river tour boats, kayaking/paddling on the Tar–Pamlico, Goose Creek State Park (about 20 minutes) for hiking, paddling, and cypress-swamp boardwalks, Historic Bath (about 20 minutes, NC's oldest town), and day trips to the Outer Banks and coast.

Grocery: Food Lion and Walmart Supercenter in Washington. Pharmacy: Walgreens / CVS in town. Urgent care / hospital: ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, Washington.

🐾 Pets

Pets are welcome with prior approval and a pet fee (shown on your booking platform) — just let us know in advance. Please clean up after your pet and never leave pets unattended in the loft.

🛟 Safety

Smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit are on site. For life-threatening emergencies call 911 first, then message us.

🚫 House Rules

Max 2 guests. No smoking indoors. No parties or events. Quiet hours after 10:00 PM — the loft is above the active chapel, so please be mindful of noise. Please treat this brand-new loft and the historic grounds with care.

👋 Check-Out (10:00 AM)

Load and start the dishwasher (if used). Bag trash and place it in the bin. Start a load of towels if you can — don't strip the bed. Set the mini-split to a reasonable temp and close the windows. Sign out of streaming accounts. Lock the door and message us so the cleaning team can enter.

💵 Possible Extra Fees

Excessive cleaning, dirty dishes, or items left behind; unapproved late check-out; damage to the loft or furnishings; unauthorized guests over the limit.
