You've booked the entire Mizpah grounds — both the fully renovated Manor House and the brand-new Chapel Loft — as one private compound. Together they sleep up to 10 across 4 beds and 2.5 baths. Please read through this guide and share it with everyone in your group for a smooth, enjoyable stay.

🏡 The Basics

Two beautifully renovated spaces on the quiet, tree-lined grounds of Mizpah Manor & Chapel in historic "Little Washington" — yours alone, with free on-site parking. Note: the chapel occasionally hosts weddings and bible studies on the ground floor.

Chapel Loft (sleeps up to 4)

• Queen daybed in the open studio
• Trundle bed that slides out from under the daybed — best for kids

🔑 Check-In & Arrival (5:00 PM)

Both buildings use a Schlage keypad. Your door code is the last four digits of the phone number used to book (same code for both). To enter: press the Schlage logo, enter your 4-digit code, then turn the handle.

• Manor House: 1114 N Market Street — directly behind the Mizpah Chapel.
• Chapel Loft: 1112 N Market Street — the private entrance is at the back of the chapel; take the exterior staircase up.
• Early check-in may be possible when there's no same-day turnover — just ask.

🅿️ Parking

• Free on-site parking. Turn into the driveway next to the fountain, behind the chapel (enter at the 1118 N Market Street driveway — the same parking area serves both buildings).
• Please don't block the chapel entrance or fountain area during events.

📶 Wi-Fi & TVs

• Wi-Fi network: The Mizpah Collection (open — no password), available in both buildings.
• Smart TVs in both spaces — log in with your own Netflix/Prime/etc. and please sign out at checkout.

❄️ Heating & Air Conditioning

• Manor House: central heat & air on a single thermostat — set it to whatever's comfortable.
• Chapel Loft: a quiet ductless mini-split (heat & A/C) — use the remote; please keep the loft windows closed while it runs.
• Set both to a reasonable temperature when you head out.

🍳 Kitchens (two of them!)

• Manor House: full chef's kitchen with cookware, dishes, silverware, a coffee maker, and a built-in warming tray for entertaining.
• Chapel Loft: full kitchen with butcher-block counters, cookware, dishes, and a coffee maker.
• Please wash and return items after use; bring extra coffee/filters to be safe.

🧺 Laundry, Linens & Supplies

• Linens for all beds and towels for all baths are provided in both buildings.
• In-unit washer/dryer in each space (in-home in the Manor; stacked in the loft).
• Toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) and hair dryers provided.
• At check-out, start a load of towels in each space if you can — please don't strip the beds.

🗑️ Trash & Recycling

• Pickup day: Thursday.
• Bag and seal all trash; place it in the provided bins.
• Set bins at the curb Wednesday night or Thursday morning, and return them after pickup if you're still here.

🐾 Pets

• Approval required before bringing pets; a pet fee applies (shown on your booking platform).
• Please clean up after your pet and never leave pets unattended.

🛟 Safety

• Smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits in both buildings.
• For life-threatening emergencies call 911 first, then message us.

🚫 House Rules

• Up to 10 guests total across both buildings
• No smoking indoors (either building)
• No parties or events without prior approval
• Quiet hours after 10:00 PM — the loft sits above the active chapel, so please be mindful of noise
• Treat both homes and the historic grounds with care

👋 Check-Out (10:00 AM)

For both buildings:

• Load and start the dishwasher (Manor)
• Bag trash and place in the bins (curb Wed night/Thu morning)
• Start a load of towels if you can — don't strip the beds
• Return any moved furniture (inside or out)
• Set the thermostat / mini-split to a reasonable temp and close windows
• Sign out of streaming accounts
• Lock all doors and message us so the cleaning team can enter

💵 Possible Extra Fees

• Excessive cleaning, dirty dishes, or items left behind
• Unapproved late check-out
• Damage to either home or furnishings
• Unauthorized pets or guests over the limit
